The six events that brightened up my day

It's a nice day to have a walk today! Yesterday I sms-ed Arwen to have a lunch at KLCC today since I have only one early morning class!

The first event that brightened up my day started with the jokes from a temporary classmate named "Balak", and even though I did not really pay attention to the lecture (busy talking with Hooi Ling)! =p

Just right at the time I finished my class at 10am, Woon Haw sms-ed me and asked to have a tea break before I went to KLCC and meet Arwen up. Second brightening event of the day!
"You must go to the Petronas gallery, it's nice!!!" he said. The moment we talked made me laughing non-stop and he's such a nice friend to talk to. If we both were not rushing on time, it could be a better gathering in somewhere (You heard this, Woon Haw!^^), next time perhaps!

11.15am, I parked my car at Wangsa Maju LRT station and took LRT to KLCC. Nothing special happened on the way luckily. I arrived quite early so I went to Kinokuniya bookstore and had a nice quick read on a book while waiting for Arwen (and another two friends who have internship with Arwen at a same company nearby KLCC), the third brightening event of the day!

12.20pm, the forth brightening event of the day; met them up and had a plate of cold spaghetti as my lunch and a nice gathering with Arwen, Ah Soon and Siew Ying. Miss all of you and other course mates so damn much!

1.35pm, went to visit the Galeri Petronas. There was an exhibition of Sony World Photography Awards and it's a global tour. I get to see many great photographs and some installation works from the Petronas Art Collection.
Actually, I've seen many of the photographs from newspaper and forwarded e-mail before. Yet, it was my first time visiting to a gallery and I can't believe that I could spend one and a half hour at a gallery. I felt psychologically and spiritually good while visiting the art gallery and viewing the arts clearly one by one. So this was the fifth brightening event of the day!

The entrance of Galeri Petronas.

I found one photograph that impressed me the most in terms of the message-delivery and the characters of the photograph. The photo was taken in India and the description for this photograph has well defined the blind singers in India.

Let's take a look here... (click the image to enlarge the photo)

"Braille Singers"

I must claim that I did not 'steal' this photograph by capturing a photo at the gallery but I grabbed from the Google-image website. Photo-shooting is strictly forbidden from the gallery.

How do you think about this photograph? It is impressive to me because it makes me think of the Slumdog Millionaire movie that I just watched few days ago. I really love the storyline of the movie as it shows and brings out a slumdog's destiny in conjunction with a TV game show, the movie also truly reflects the real lifestyle and culture in India. Haven't watch it yet? Go and watch it then you will understand what am I talking about.

Left a message on a signature book before I left the gallery.
(This time I really took a quick shot by my mobile phone sneakingly under a CCTV =p)

I was kinda tired walking with my new pair of shoes (actually it's still new since CNY and I only wore it for not more than ten times, and it's getting broken T_T) so I decided to buy a cup of Pink Lemonade from Juice Works before I continue my way back to Wangsa Maju. A nice afternoon drink which made up the sixth brightening event of the day! ^^

Pink Lemonade which is made of and ice-blended with watermelon and lemon.
It tasted great but spent me RM 6.25 for one regular cup of ordinary juice!

Took a silly photo by my mobile phone from my seat at Juice Work.
I was sitting between five floors' escalators!

Arrived at Wangsa Maju at 4pm. It's such a lovely day with my friends, cute stuffs and of course, myself! =)

Anyway, I'm going to Jing Si Books and Cafe tomorrow. It's located at Bukit Bintang underneath a CD shop Speedy, it's just opposite of Federal Hotel. Click the image to enlarge the map below. I'll be there in the afternoon tomorrow, just feel free to have a nice tea break there! ;)

p/s: Sometimes it's just feeling good while having a good and relax walking to nowhere! =) Ciao~
