Ok, how should I start writing this post? I'm a bit out of inspiration in blogging now! Pictures tell a thousand words, so I would just describe according to my photos ok? (I know I'm lazy...)
We went in a group of 12 and travelled for about 1 hour from Genting Klang to Semenyih! We arrived before 2pm and the day was a great sunny day!
The floor plan of the camp!
There were only two groups including us!
We were briefed to be aware of several FUNNY rules. Rule number one was NO FARTING as you will create air pollution! Have a try please! =)
Stations are optioned to be chosen according to your preference and you will get to experience many different activities in different stations!
There was a large football field where you can have your own free-and-easy activity there such as football, or fireworks playing as requests.
We had our lunch before we started our activities...
and of course, Lissa and I camwhoring before we get wet and dirty!
Yes, definitely you have to get yourselves prepared for getting dirty, sweaty, tanned and tired, but YOU MUST ENJOY!
Oh ya, to remind you, we can't complain anything (please refer to rule number nine) but we are allowed to ask or inquire.
For example, you should ask:" WHY is the dorm so dark?" instead of "Hey, the lights are not functioning!" See that? It's all about communication skill... ;)
We chose Flying Fox for our main activity but due to safety issue, we were not recommended to bring along any property like cameras and mobile phones while we were conducting activities.
So some of these photos were taken after the activities or the next day.
Don't ask me about the height, I dunno.
All I know was, I was very excited and happily wanted to be the first to take the challenge to 'fly' over the pond.
Until I was about to take the first step to jump down, I suddenly felt losing of courages and my brain was empty. The moment was like "Oh crap, how if I am dead because of this!" and now I'm amazed by those people who are trying to commit suicide by jumping down from buildings, how brave they are!
No matter how, JUST DO IT and I've made it! =)
But the worst thing was, my helmet set off and injured my right eye lip while I was 'landing'. Frightening right?
This was how the ladder looked like. Yes you are right, we climbed up by this creepy ladder, not staircases!
After Flying Fox, we went to another station and did Obstacle Course, where you need to jump from side to side, climb over walls, swing yourselves like Tarzan and hanging on bars like a monkey.
Then, a teaming game was set and we competed among ourselves into two small groups.
After that, we continued our activities with kayaking and basketball. I guess that's why I get most of my muscles aches in both of my arms...
At night, we had barbecue as our dinner and a campfire session after that. We danced, we sang, we shouted like orang asli, we had limbo, we had loads of fun!
We actually planned to hike Broga Hill the next early morning but many of us were exhausted (including me of course) and therefore there were only four of my friends going for hiking.
Still, some of us got up quite early and went for some light exercise before we checking out at 11am. I took some time to enjoy my beautiful morning with photographing and cycling.
Ivan and Hui Qi just came back from cycling!
After checking out from the camp, we visited to a famous Chinese temple nearby the place. That was a hot sunny afternoon!
Lissa is always my model for shooting!
As usual, I snapped whatever that catches my eyes! =)
Hand washing after a prayer.
And kids can never escape from my eyes (camera)!
Emm... Was she frightened? I'm sorry if I frightened you girl.. ^^
Bought some drinks before we leaving to our homes!
Though it's really tiring, I had a great trip with my mates! I appreciate every chance of hanging out with people as we might only have few times to meet up and gather in our lives!
Well, Chinese New Year is around the corner! It's Rabbit Year! Wishing you an early Happy Chinese New Year (in case I don't get to update my blog on time, hehehe..).
Thanks to Ivan for lending me his rabbit puppet, I had nice sweet sleeping times hugging it no matter in the camp or in Ivan's car.
Have a great day! =)
