The usual Leong family's CNY celebration

Hmm... Well, I've delayed posting for ages! Can I now just to upload photos without saying any other things? Tarina, this post is all for you!

As usual, I made several types of cookies for CNY, and I successfully tried out a new recipe of cookies.

This is Oat Peanut Cookie. Taste really good! I'm not lying, really, Tarina! ^^

As usual, we had Tang Yuen on the reunion day!

Iron man Benny and I =)

The classic Hakka meat balls represents our traditional homemade!

Faat Koh made by Auntie Lily. (Nice one Tarina! ^^)

We had Stir Fried Spicy Shrimps =)

Soup of the day - Shark Fin soup!!!

Everyone gets a bowl of soup. Oh, not really a bowl, perhaps more than a bowl! Sorry Tarina, I can't reserve you this! Hehehe

Even a cat smelled the nice smell of soup! =)

The next day (big first day of CNY), we went to grandma's house as usual, the only unsual thing was without Tarina (but we are getting used to it anyway... Just kidding k! =D)

A tableful of CNY snacks!!!

In the afternoon, relatives came and paid a visit. I bet you have never met them before, Tarina! Will tell you more next time when you are back in Malaysia! =)

Card games are necessary during CNY! We played, did not mean we gamble.
Basically we don't gamble. Our family doesn't have the habit or interest to gamble. and I heard there was a story behind why we are trained not to gamble. The real old-time grandmother story.

Boy! This kid did well in few games! I was amazed that he's only 10 years old (if i'm not mistaken)?

Guess what I was doing? I was just setting up my camera and tripod to take family group photos. That was just testing.

Not a complete family group photo.

In the evening, we had steamboat at Aunty Lily's house.

These women were comparing and choosing the best abalone.

Our favorite homemade 'Lily's cheesecake'! ^^

Trust me, this was a real good stuff! (Vodka Lemon) =D

So were these!

Sweet sisters!

I really enjoy to be with my family. Alright, that's all for our family post! Hope you enjoy it Tarina! Well of course you will enjoy more by your own. Hope to meet you soon! I didn't capture too many of food photos, as many of the food were similar, likewise, we had 3 types of chicken: Chicken Curry, Roasted Chicken with Stone, and Salted Beggar Chicken (I bet you dunno some of them right?) Not trying to seduce you k! =)

p/s: More to come, bloggie!
